Urszinyi-Beliczey-mansion
The free-standing, rectangular neoclassical mansion was built in the late 1840s by the Ursziny family of Sepsi.
The mansion
The neoclassical mansion was built in the late 1840s by the Ursziny family of Spiš. After the death of the original owner of the Ursziny family, the mansion later became the property of Rudolf Beliczey, Member of Parliament. The family house was once surrounded by a two-sided garden. Rudolf Beliczey later left the mansions in Békéscsaba and Csabaszabadi to his cousin Géza Beliczey. In 1938, Beliczey Miklós, Rudolf's son, became the owner of the family estate and the mansions. The Beliczey family stayed in his mansion in Csabaszabadi in the summer and in Békéscsaba in the winter.
The neoclassical Ursziny-Beliczey mansion, after decades of renovation and extension of the modern part of the building, became the new home of the Napsugár Puppet Theatre of Békéscsaba from 26 May 2023.

Work processes
We drew up plans for the three rooms of the mansion, carefully working out the decorative motifs and designing them to scale. Our client chose to have one of the rooms designed by us, but we also developed and digitised the ceiling decoration plans for two other rooms. We carefully analysed the available photo documentation; there were parts where all the information was clearly visible, but there were also areas where we had to fill in missing parts to create the complete picture.

Some samples of your finished ceiling design digitally.

The patterns were designed digitally so that they could be cut out as stencils, which made the process more efficient.
